Indianapolis, IN -- American Idol '03 Tour These pictures were taken at the Indianapolis, IN American Idol concert on July 12, 2003. It was an incredible night! (And the night Clay made his first reference to the panties... ;D) My seats were on the right side of the stage in section 17, row 15. The nice lady usher let my best friend Ben, my mom, and my little sister sit behind me (they were rescued from the nosebleed section)... Anyway, if you'd like to use any of these pictures for anything, please contact x_crystalmist_x@hotmail.com first. Credits go to Lindsey Patton. Thank you & enjoy!

(There are loads of pictures. Please be patient!)

Charles Grigsby singing Stevie Wonder's "Do I Do." (That was the song, right?)

Julia DeMato singing a very moving rendition of Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful".

Rickey Smith got the crowd riled up with Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel".

Kim Caldwell singing "Stuck"... she was rockin'.

Trenyce doing a very awesome job on "Proud Mary"... it was deja vu! Tina Turner!!

Kim Locke singing "Band Of Gold" and it was beautiful and she was beautiful.

And then I fainted.

Ruben Studdard sang "Superstar"... it was kind of slow and a little tedious. >.>

Sigh. Clay Aiken singing "This Is The Night"... he really soared. Then they launched the doll at him. ;D

It's blurry, it's on the Jumbotron, and it's Clay! He is absolutely gorgeous in real life. There's nothing like seeing him in real time!

I almost forgot to take pictures!! Oh, the things Clay does to me!

Gee golly, that boy sure is handsome.

Clay in that nice form-fitting suit singing "This Is The Night"... the word "WOW!" about sums it up.

After Clay sang "This Is The Night", someone was waving around a sign that said, "WE'LL GIVE YOU A DOLLAR IF YOU SING!" So Clay pointed it out and said, "Can I have that dollar now?" and did his little giggle. Next thing you know, this object is launched onto the stage. Clay says, "If that's someone's panties, I'm outta here!" and laughed again. Then he complained he couldn't see through all the fog and he finally picked up the little doll with sports shorts on and a dollar tucked in the shorts. He got a kick out of it and showed it to the audience, then carried it around the stage with him.

So this picture is a little crazy, but it's Carmen Rasmusen, Kim Locke, Kim Caldwell's arm, and Trenyce singing "Bootylicious".

Clay, Ruben, Charles, and Rickey playing it cool and singing "The Lady Is A Tramp".

Yeah, we owned Clay! He was on our side of the stage!!

The girls singing "Bootylicious" prior to the duel that the guys & girls had. I think the girls won, hee.

Clay & Ruben chatting about how they did the whole talk show circuit... and how important The Today Show was, because they both met this girl... well, you know, Clay said, "Ruben's only saying this because he knows I had her first!" And thus began "The Girl Is Mine".

Clay & Ruben gripe about which one has the girl. But, let's remember.. Clay's "a lover, not a fighter."

Neat picture, huh? Clay says that the dog-gone girl is his! And the crowd agreed!

Clay is "lalala"ing while Ruben sings. Silly Clay!

And Clay still insists the girl is his! He's a persistent fella!

Clay tells Ruben, "Aw, come on, Ruben... you won the show, at least let me have the girl!"

A Clay giggle touches you down deep.

(I just skipped about five pictures! Heh!) Charles singing "Jive Talkin'" with Rickey and Clay...

And the boys are still jive talkin'!

They decide to tone it down a little with "How Deep Is Your Love". Clay's little solo of And you come to me on a summer breeze / Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave / And it's me you need to show was particularly beautiful.

And Clay is asking us how deep is our love? For you, Claybee, it is an endless abyss!!

Clay came out for his solo of "To Love Somebody" and I started crying. Honestly.

Clay loves somebody... and it must be me, because he's looking in my direction.

Yeah! I loved this... Ms. Locke came out singing "If I Can't Have You".

And for the fans of Clarmen-- yes, they are groping each other.

Yeah, Clay is busting a move!

Down there, dwarfed by the massive stage, is our man Clay. He had on an Indiana Pacers jersey... Reggie Miller's #31, in fact... but it said "Aiken" on the back. Cutie patootie.

Clay is so silly. The crowd was so loud, so he was adjusting his little earphone and he had to do his little lean for dramatic effect.

Clay says, "I'll be doing a song from my debut album..." And the crowd goes insane.

You should have heard the screams that consumed that stadium. It was deafening... honestly!!

Right into that powerhouse of a song. "Invisible" is awesome and you will love it.

I wish I could be a fly on the wall...

Wish I could be what goes through your mind...

Yummy Clay in the hip thrust jersey grab!

Bahaha! He's looking at me again! I saw your face in the crowd / I called out your name / You don't hear a sound.

Clay kills me with those hip thrust jersey grabs!

Clay strolls along after the song, taking it all in.
