Events

Welcome to Willow Creek's Events! Here all of Willow Creek's private and public shows take place. These shows are not big shows where you win points, these shows are just Ribbions and some money. There may also by some other prizes as well, like some clothing from our store or some free lessons! We like to do these shows to raise money for the town and for our facilities here at Willow Creek. When we have public shows we like ti invite any one in Oak Springs to come along, but when we have Privite shows only boarders are aloud. I think that tell most of what are shows are for and how they run. So keep checking back for upcoming shows!
~15th Annual Public Show~

Welcome to our 15th Annual Public Show!!! This show is just around the corner and we invite everyone to come along! We have not yet decided our date for the show, but it will be some time in May.This year our prices have been lowered, so we hope it makes it better. This year on both days the first class starts at 8:00 AM sharp. English classes also including driving and racing will take place on the first day. Western classes including halter and showman ship will take place on the second day. We have also re-located this show to the second barn this year, and will be using our 2 outdoor rings, their sizes are olympic size (english this year) and 350 by 350 (western this year). Our tracks we will be using are our half mile steeple chasing track, and our 1 mile race track. We will have the first cross country course since last year we have troubles with the second. All other rings, round pens, tracks, cross country courses not being used can be used for warm ups and practicing. Hopefully we will not have to use the other barn because our second one is all set-up for it. Entries for all horses will cost $50. Stalls for over night will be $10, you will need it for two nights if you want to be here on time for the first class. Shavings for stalls cost $5 and you will need two bags for one stall. If you wish you can bring all your horses, up to you. Through out the show there will be special clinics set-up so make sure you see some there great to watch! This year clinics are totally free and will be put on by staff and Cammy. Breakfest, lunch and supper will be put up and that is free to. If needed we have rooms for people to stay in and they will cost $5 a nite. But hopefully you will have living quarters in your trailers. If any bad weather comes to the show we will switch to indoor rings, keep your fingers cross for no bad weather! I think that pretty much tells about our 15th Annual Public Show this year...so one last word GOOD LUCK!

Novice Is the easier class with easier horses. There is less class money to be won. If you have newier horses to the show buissness enter them here.
Youth Is a much harder class with much more harder horses. There is more class money to be won. If you have more expericined horses enter them here.

~Weather/News~

~Weather~

So far for the month of May the weather looks good. There might be some strong winds and clouds for May 17,18, and 19. Also there might be light light showers towards the very end of the month. So we will try to avoid those dates for having our show. Keep checking back because the weather can change quiet easily!

~News~

We have had an offer to have some special breeders to come to our show and have some clinics up. They are also going to have stands up so you can ask them questions or check our there stuff. They have some pretty good studs and will be bringing with them some frozen semans so if you wish they will be up for sale at the price of $500 and you may breed your mare with that. They will have a wide choice of studs semans so pick carefully! We have also had some generious people gives us money so there will be a higher money rate to win. The judges will be the same as last year Mr. Ken McClellan and Mrs. Judy Ross both from our town.
