This contaning the forest Its ever green mantle of noble trees danketing the moist tropic lands, holds a riches array of animals life than any land of land area on earth. millions of years ago, before the advent of the ice ages, the earth tasked in never ending summer and its lands lay mantled almost to the poles beneath a forest cover of eternal green.In popular fancy the tropical rain forest is envisaged as a stifling baby with of strangled, impinetrable undergrowth, creepers, vines and rotting vegetation through which man must back his may inch by turtous inch .one of the unique characteristics of the rain forest is that most of its vegetation is tree like in size and woody and character.
During the season of rain wild avalanches of water recurrently descend in the thunderous cloudbursts w/c may disgorge 30 inches of water in as many days. Thje rain forest weaves a green belt arounds the midtriff of the earth, where mountains left thier shoulders skyward into cool realms of perpetual mist and cloud. the forest cover dwindles into a curious elfin wood of giant forms and gnarled, stunded trees,boarded with moos. The complexity of the hylaea is so great that botanist consider it not one but many forest to the eyes of man the hylaea appears as majestic and over powering in its ways as a soaring range of mountains or the sea .
