After the Accord, a peace of sorts came upon the various paradigms. The long wars they had fought against one another were as nothing when compared to the trials and loss of life suffered as they tried to oust the demons from the Holy Lands. While the situation was far from ideal, mages of all the major Paradigms found camaraderie among each other and the tolerance this promoted lead to a Renaissance within magical communities.

This also led to stratification among Paradigms. A combination of size, political power, and cohesive structures allowed some Paradigms feel a degree of superiority over those that lacked this combination. Often, the more loosely organized groups of mages, or those that were affiliated with cultures and racial groups that were conquered ended up at the fringes of both mundane and magical society.

While this schism is not as great during these supposedly enlightened times, the differences between the high and the low paradigms still exists. The High are still larger, more powerful, and have strong and expansive networks, while the Low tend to be scattered, unorganized, and tend to affiliate themselves with countercultures.

The ruling group of mages in Logos, the Council of Warren, has a seat for each of the High Paradigms and three for the Low Paradigms.

High Paradigms:
Akashic Brotherhood
The Cabal of Rebus
Chakravanti

Low Paradigms:
