Eleven Character Creation Rules

RULES FOR CHARACTER CREATION FOR THE RPG, "ELEVEN".





These rules will be followed by all wishing to join the RPG. They detail the character creation process and guidlines that the potential RPer should follow to design a successful, acceptable character to participate in the storyline.
First and foremost, Eleven is an RPG set in the present day, in our current world of Earth. This means there are cars, computers, and (possibly the most important for combat-seekers), firearms available. It also means that the governments and nations which are currently existing are present in the world of the RP. However, although Eleven is also a dark fantasy, and many extraordinary things will be happening- you DO NOT have the right to "bend the rules" of the real world by creating a flying, psychic, half-werewolf character!! (Trust me, I'll flip out.)
Your Eleven character can be either male or female (duh), and can be any REASONABLE age. If you are playing a nine-year-old little girl, do not expect to be slaying the forces of evil, expect to be playing hopscotch. You may create the appearance of your character as you wish, to the extent that they must still have a humanoid form- that is, you cannot give your human character six arms or horns. However, if you want to have some anime-esque odd hair/eye/skin/etc. color, go ahead. It only serves to add flair to your character.
Characters in the Eleven world can stand anywhere on the moral or ethical axis. Good guys, bad guys, and some guys who don't much care. If you play a demon character (more on that later), your alignment (good or evil) will NOT be restricted by this choice. There are good demons out there...they just usually are killed before they do anything noteworthy.
Allow me to use this moment to bring up a relevant topic. You CANNOT submit your character with the assumption that he/she will be among the Eleven. Not all characters fit this role, as you will understand. Should you desire to be part of this group, your character will express that. Know also that the decision between human or demon character does not rule out the chance of being in the Eleven (no matter which race you choose).

I would like a small backstory/personality description to be included in your bio/profile. You don't have to disclose all your character's personal details (nor do you have to come up with them yet). I just want a basic idea of what to expect once the RPG starts.


CREATION METHODOLOGY


To create a character for Eleven, you must do one of two things: Put required information onto a "profile" page (try www.expage.com for free, simple webpages) and send me the URL, or- Type a short "bio" for your character and e-mail it to me.
