For his efforts and implementation, the Republic of Singapore Air Force awarded him with the Outstanding Unit Safety Specialist Award.

Building on his experiences in the areas of integrated management (quality, environment, and occupational health & safety), Leonard further designed and delivered the in-house training programs as well as establishing the ISO 9001:1994, ISO 9001:2000, the OHSAS 18001:1999 manuals and procedures for Wah-Chang.
