Our Path
I recently attened a workshop in my community which was supposed to be an open discussion on religion.
Instead i ended up listening to a three hour long tirade on how Witches were the spawn of Satan
and anybody who did not believe in the Christian God did not deserve to exist.
Needless to say i was quite surprised. I was raised Roman Catholic but i was never
told that a person was less becuase they did not share our
religion. I guess my family was more liberal than most.
However, this did set me thinking... why do people feel this way? Why am I damned to burn for eternity because I see the world differently.?
Over the course of human history every religion, race and culture has been sterotyped and criticized,
and every one of them has had its supporters and its detractors. I am dedicating this
section to supporting my beliefs in the hopes that it may help
even one person to see us in a different, more positive light.
I can only write what I know and feel. Unfortunatly, regardless of the books I have
read and the websites I have visited, I can never hope to include everything.
So I ask anybody who feels that they have information that should be on my
page, but isn't, to e-mail me and let me know.
