Auction Tips
First and foremost, know the going price for any item you are auctioning then drop the price about 5-10% MINIMUM. This will get people to bid on it and if it's an item that there's some demand for you are almost assured in getting more than the lowest prices on the shop wizard.
Don't Auction off garbage like Palm Fans and Bottles of Sand. It does nothing but clutter up the auctions and no one will bid on it anyway. If it's not worth at least 50 NP in a shop, don't auction it!
When you look at the item in your inventory and it says Est. Value this is NOT the price you should sell it for in an auction. I'd suggest looking to see what other items like it are going for in the Shop Wizard or the Auction Genie first. Sometimes it's worth more but usually it's worth less. If I had 1NP for everytime someone over priced something based on it's EST VALUE or put in some piece of junk, I wouldn't need to play the games because I'd be a BILLIONAIRE!
Don't get into a bidding war over an item. Bid on it once and keep an eye on how long the auction has left. All you need to do is get the last bid in and depending on your connection speed, you can usually wait until the last 2 or 3 seconds then submit your new bid and you will get the item. If you get into a bidding war with someone all your going to do is drive up the price and make someone else np and pay more than you need to. Patience patience patience!
Know the going price of what you're bidding on. Don't bid on an item that's over priced to begin with. I've gotten some nice stuff real cheap because I watched the prices.
There is no BEST time for the auctions. During the day there is a bigger selection of items but late at night it's easier to win auctions
