Principles of Design

Making the weight and placement of your page equally balanced.
This can be done through size, color, and location.
Having your page so that the eye easily goes from one object to another.
Uniting the elements of a page.
The scale of elements on a page.
If an element is small if should be with something that is large.
This is also true with textured elements.
This is the movement of elements such as color, lines and shapes.
Rhythm can be formed from repetition of these elements.
This is when elements on a page are opposite to each other, giving contrast and depth.
This happens when colors or from opposite sides of the color wheel. Also when shapes contrast by being sharp or soft.
