House Taxes

Such taxes may be paid either at each passing or quarterly for high caste houses. These taxes must be paid quarterly for merchant and slaver houses.

High caste houses will provide guards to supplement the city garrison. Such that 10% of all house swords duty time is spent in service to the city.

Any affected citizens will be granted a hearing to discuss such taxes with the Administrator or his appointed representative. This is as courtesy to the free of Piedmont.

Licenses for the Shops

Each shop will provide proof of purchase of a city license at the request of any city guard or high caste citizen. This is to prevent rogue shops, taverns and troublesome travelers from taking advantage of the open gates of Piedmont and her people. Licenses may be obtained from the merchant caste.
