Day Two of my DC Trip

Today we went to the International Spy Museum. It was okay...i wouldn't go again, though. some parts of it were interesting, but not enough to care too much. Afterwards, we tried to go to the Ford Theatre and the House where Lincoln Died but they were closed for renovations. I think that's dumb...don't renovate it! i want it to stay the same! arg! instead, we found the post station and went to the top of the building. you go up in a glass elevator REALLY high so, of course, i was FREAKING out. at the top, the view was beautiful. it reminded me of the view from the Hancock Building in Chicago. once back on solid ground, we ate Ben and Jerry's ice cream for lunch (i had a cup of half chocolate fudge brownie-half strawberry MMMM) and then took the Metro to Union Station to hit the mall. i ended up buying Coconut Oil mist, Body Butter, black rubber bracelets, and nail polish. we ate dinner at Pizzeria Uno...SOOOO good. the drawback was slow service and we had to sit near obnoxious God Squad freaks. Gr, "Like, TOTALLY!" oh yeah. before we took the Metro, we visited the Visitor Center in the Reagan Building where we had to show photo ID just to get maps. i got bored so i sent ross a virtual postcard. so now we are waiting for nine o'clock to roll around so we can go downstairs for tea and cookies with the other guests. because we are in the International Guest House, there's always someone interesting to talk to. this morning, there was a French couple, a Lebanese man, a Congolese man, and a guy from New York at breakfast. Pretty cool.
