2cd Halloween

Happy Halloween, or @ least thats what we would like to think Alexis is thinking on this special little day!

Lexi is now 1 year & 13 days old and its time to go get into her Halloween costume Mommy bought @ least 1 1/2 months in advance to be sure she could fit it - Piglet from The Hundred Acre Wood!!!

This is a picture of her costume, but
it isn't her in it; I got it from the site we bought it from!

When I first got it, I tried it on her to be sure it fit, it fit fine, but she wasn't willing to take it off for me after it was on, she wanted to "love" on it and did not want to take it off, needless to say somewhere in all of this was a fit being thrown, some bribery, & waving bye bye to Piglet, so he could night night!!

On Saturday, the 25th of October, I took Alexis in to get her portraits taken in her costume - the lady in the studio said she had never seen such a cute little one in there Halloween costume! Pictures went well & I'll be getting them back soon!

Friday the 31st, Halloween, we went to Waxhaw, NC to a festival they were having for the kids. They had games to play and win candy, food, a costume contest, "Guess how many M&M's and Candy Corn in the jar" games and more. Alexis' cousin won #1 for the contest, Keaton, she was a Hola Girl and Lexi won 2cd!!! I was so happy and she barely knew what was going on; they gave her a cake! Then after all was said and done and we went home, the next day I got a phone call saying Alexis won the Candy Corn, we guessed 495 peices and there were 485 peices. Jeremy (daddy), Alexis, and I had a blast and I'm sure next year will be even better b/c she'll know more of whats going on and can enjoy it that much more!!!

1st Halloween

Alexis was only 13 days old when her first Halloween rolled around on her & only 11 days @ home! Mommy had decorated a pumpkin for her and Daddy went out and bought her, her first Halloween costume - A Sweet Little Bumble Bee!!!

Bbbuuuzzzz... Bbuuzzz!!!

Mommy wanted to get some good pictures of Alexis dressed up & ready to sting, so she did! We got out a black bedspread and put a pillow under it, to prop Lexi up with, dressed her, & leaned her up against it - it worked like magic!!! We even tossed in the pumpkin for even cuter shots!!

Alexis was too young for Trick-or-Treating, so that was the end of that Holiday!!!
