25...24...23, twenty-three days until school starts!!! What are we going to do? We have to buy school supplies, think about getting up early, and having to strain our brains after having three months of computer, television, and maybe some outdoor activities. For most of my friends and I we are ready to go back, to see all our friends again and find out what classes we have. School supply shopping is really fun for me, you get cool new stuff and you get to show it off at school. Most of the kids in our school go to the town Wal-Mart, which is where I do most of my shopping. But I would recommend Walgreen’s and Wal-Mart. Walgreen’s has a wider selection of neat and unique things that not everybody will have. Getting up early, this is my biggest fear about going back to school. This summer I have been waking up at ten o'clock in the morning. I have now got myself to where right now I set my alarm clock for nine, then later eight, then again set it for seven, and when school starts I am willing and ready to get up at six thirty in the morning. Maybe you should try that way it won't be such a big jump from late afternoons to crack of dawn. School is new teachers, new classes, and more homework. I hope I have some classes with my friends and that I get the team of teachers that I want. Next year we will be at the head of the class. We will be in eighth grade and we graduate the year 2008. Have you noticed that in all the contest we have had in our school the eighth grade has won because I guess they feel obliged to give them the prize since they are leaving. But this year that class will be us. The few, the proud, the eighth grader. Even though our class last year was given the spirit tomahawk both times. But that just might have been because we were too loud for them to stand. Our schedules should be arriving soon by snail mail and we can all see just how fast school has come upon us.
