I'm tired. Here's yesterday.

Yesterday in Health we talked about 2 things. The 'female reproductive organs' and the 'male reproductive organs'. That was... interesting. And not a good interesting. In Orchestra Mr. Hale decided not to show up again. I told Betsy that if he didn't have a heart attack, if his dad didn't have a heart attack, or any of his family members weren't deathly ill, I would kick his ass. He even hired a freaking sub that "didn't know the first thing about music." Brad, Betsy, and I were all pissed because it was the day before the contest. I'll get to that later. In Math we took a test. Yay. I love math tests. In SAGE we finished the oral presentations. In science we spent all hour reviewing for the test that was today. I am sick as a fucking dog. My nose and throat were killing me.

Today things weren't too much better. In Gym we did this stupid obstacle course race. Very stupid. In Orchestra Mr. Hale actually showed up! But, he came on the day when we were going to see a play during that hour. Great. On a side note, when I said "But actually you came on the day we aren't playing" in a sarcastic tone, he replied with "Well, Belinda, next time I'll be sure to adjust my kids' illnesses to fit your schedule", also in a sarcastic tone. Damn are we some sarcastic losers. LOL. I decided not to kick his ass, because it was his family that was sick, so it's alright I guess. :) In Comm. Arts we turned in our projects. Which I didn't do. I was the only one who didn't do it. Whoops. In Math we got our test scores back. I got 105%. Yay. In SAGE we played a gay game. In Science I got out to go practice with the 8th graders. OK, to the contest...

The contest is this thing where the 8th grade orchestra practices these pieces for a long time and finally go to another school and play in front of a judge. Then you get rated on a scale of 1 to 3. 1 is the best. So, today was the day of the contest. We all had to wear collared white shirts and black pants/skirts. I wore mine to school so I had everyone asking why the hell I was dressed up. Anyway, my friends Betsy and Brad, along with me, were told by Mr. Hale that he wanted us to play with the 8th graders in their contest. So we got music and practiced at home. Some days we came in before school and played with a couple of the 8th graders. Other than that the only practice we had with the rest of the 8th graders was when Hale got me out of my last hour class. I got out today and we practiced and all that ish. Then we all went and jacked around until 3:20, when we were supposed to meet in the Instrumental Music Room. So we got that whole speech that's supposed to be inspirational from Mr. Hale and then boarded the bus. On the bus I sat with Betsy. On our left was Alyssa and Tim. In front was Mr. Hale. Pretty much the whole time Betsy looked through my past SAGE stuff because she's taking the test to see if she gets in pretty soon. We get there and tune and warm up and all that stuff. We played and I thought we did pretty damn good. Click here or here to hear my favorite 2 songs that we played (They're MIDIs, so they aren't very good, but oh well.). Anyway, after a while, we finally got our rating, and it was a 1. Damn are we good or what?

Well, I think I'm gonna go.
