Alright, let me start with the 17th. It sucked. 18th... it sucked. Except for the fact that in Health class we got to do this thing where my class stood on the stage of the auditiorium and we got into groups of 11. One of us climbed up on top of a table. 5 of the other 10 stood in a line going out from the desk, and the other 5 stood across from them. They held onto eachother's elbow's, and the person standing on the table turned around so that their back was to the other people. Then they jumped off onto their arms. We didn't drop anyone besides the teacher. :-) It was fun to do first hour. In orchestra we finally got our Honors Orchestra music. It's cool. In Comm. Arts we read some play based on some Greek myth. That was extremely boring. We have a math test next Wednesday. Yay! I have a 100% in math right now. It's a new semester. Our teacher made a list of the 5 students with the highest grades at the end of first semeter. I got #1. Woohoo. In SAGE, we went to the Library to research for our 5-page report. In science we did a lab. On Mr. Manchion's list of the 20 best science grades for first semester I got #6. I'm not at all discouraged by that. I have like a 92.4%. That's not that great. Then after school Betsy came over. We played pool and she beat me!! I made all of her balls on accident besides 2 of them, then I scratched on the 8-ball. Stupid me. Heh. Then we went out to eat. On to today...

Today I got up at 6:30 and had to be in the New Mark by 7:10 to go to the Science Olympiad tournament at Campbell Jr. High. I was hoping to get there early enough to ride with Mr. Manchion, but Cory and Kristin were already in there. *sigh* Anyway, I ended up riding with Margo, Danielle, and Ashley. Ashley's really quiet, but when she does talk, whatever she says is hilarious. Margo's loud and obnoxious. Danielle's just... an annoyance. So it was a wonderful car ride there. Let me explain what the "Top 15" is: if you want to be on the Science Olympiad team, you get a packet from Manchion or May, study, and try out. If you do well, you make the team. There were 21 people who made the team this year. 10 eighth graders and 11 seventh graders. We have 3 practice tournaments before regionals. We do well at regionals, we go to state. We do good at state, we go to nationals. The first two practice tournaments are used to determine what 15 people will be competing in what events at regionals, state, and nationals, because only 15 can actually compete. One of the other 21 students can build a bridge or a wright flyer, but they can't test/run it. One of the top 15 people do. But, the person who built it gets the medal. So anyway, the first to practice tournaments are used to determine those top 15. I'm in it. So, this last practice tournament is practice for regionals and state. Mr. Manchion pairs you up with someone else who's good at that event, and you do it. I'm in Life Science Process Lab (biology) and Bridge Building. I didn't have a bridge this time, but I still helped the other people on my team that did when they tested. I did Life Science Process Lab with Bryan. He's awesome at LSP. To make a long story short, Bryan and I got first in LSP, and my school got first in the tournament. I'm kinda sad though, I didn't get to talk to Cory the whole day. I haven't talked to Cory in like 3 weeks. :-( Mr. Manchion was running an event, so I didn't see him all day. The only contact I had with him was after we got our plaque, I walked up to him to tell him how I was going to get home, because he needed to know. He said "OK", kind of flicked the medal I had around my neck, put his arm around my shoulder, told me good job, and I left. Whee.

So I get to my dad's house. My grandpa can't talk he's so sick, he's got rolls of toilet paper next to him to blow his nose. I got a pop, went upstairs, and went to my dad's room. He was sleeping. So, I got on my comp and checked my email. Email from Ben. I got on AOL, and Ben invited me to a chatroom. So I talked to Ben, Danny, and David for awhile. Until Ben freaked my out. He asked me if I would go out with him. Then he tried to make me feel sorry about turning him down. And that pissed me off. So I signed onto another screenname. That's how I run away from my troubles :-) Today at the tournament I was talking to Danny and I said I can't stand punk with the exception of, like, 2 bands. He was in astonishment that I hated punk. Little did I know he was an AFI fan. AFI rocks my socks. I told him my exceptions were AFI, Misfits, and maybe Pennywise. And then we got into a long discussion on AFI and other punk bands. So today at my dad's I downloaded every song off of The Art Of Drowning EP. I love the song Morningstar. I've been listening to Smashing Pumpkins "Zero" for the last hour, so while I'm thinking of this, I'll listen to Morningstar. Alright, I'm talking computer shit with Ryan, so I think I'll go.
