Yee-haw. Today we had a Science Olympiad tournament. It was hosted at our school. Let me just say before I start my story that my school kicked some major ass. LOL. We got first. Not to brag, but we always get first place at practice tournaments. Then we get a slap in the face when we get 3rd at Regionals. Anyway, I only competed in 2 events. One was Life Science Process Lab. It's Biology shit. I totally bombed it. It was all stuff that I hadn't studied. I've never even gotten study materials for this shit. All the other tests were nothing like this one. So, of course, I bombed. The other event was Bridge Building. I wish my webcam worked or I'd take a picture of it. It's made out of bass wood and balsa wood. Truss construction. Blah blah blah. Bottom line is that it broke. Everyone's bridge has to hold 15 kilograms. Mine got the closest in my school. Whee. Anyway, my whole team knows we'll be getting a big lecture from Mr. Manchion on Monday. As much as I like him, because you know, Mr. Manchion's the man, he still doesn't take shit. He isn't one of those teachers that says "Oh it's OK, we'll do better next time." He's the kind that kicks you in the ass and yells at you. But I'm making him sound really bad. He isn't. He's funny. Anyway, everyone was saying we were the rowdiest and messiest school there. We all were kind of thinking "... and your point is?!?" I mean, we're New Mark Middle School. You have to expect it. The whole thing in Missouri around the middle schools in our region is "You don't beat New Mark. Bottom line, that's it." So, most of the team has a big head and think they don't have to study. Dumbasses. It's mostly 7th graders like me. I don't really hang out with the 7th graders though, LOL. I hung out with mah bestest buddy Cory most of the time. He isn't on the team, but oh well. He's a sophomore, but was on the team 2 years ago. The year he was on the team New Mark got 4th in the nation. Hell yeah. Anyway, Manchion will have something to yell at us about. 'Cause the 7th graders are slackers. Fucking Aaron didn't turn in something for an event so technically we didn't do it. So we got 17 extra points. And the lowest score wins, so that's bad. We won the the tournament anyway though. Heh. Jack is a freshman, and he's the bridge man. His bridge got 10th in the nation when he and Cory were on the team 2 years ago. So he's gonna help me make an arch for the next tournament. Yay. Now Eilsa's ready to make a clean sweep and kick some ass. LOL. We got our t-shirts today. They suck compared to last year's. Even though I wasn't on the team last year (because I didn't try out) people who were still wear the old ones. This one has a "science design" on the back that Mrs. May (who co-coaches with Mr. Manchion) drew. It sucks. Mr. Manchion's gonna get on my ass about the Life Science test. He'll make me correct it all. *shudders* I left like 15 questions blank, haha. Whoops. I should have done Egg Drop. It's where you build a device that will keep an egg from breaking/cracking when dropped from a certain height. I'm alright at it. I think this is enough for now. Let me leave you with a quote from Sean:

"In heaven you eat granola and play Candyland."
