BAILEY

Originally from the Ozarks, Greg Bailey is probably the most accomplished musician in the group as well as being very successful in the fields of music teaching, recording and instrument repair. His favorite instrument is the banjo, and performs excellently on 5-string banjo and the plectrum banjo. Greg's biggest dream for as long as he can remember is to own and play a FIRST-CLASS DEERING banjo. Well, this year his dream came true. He's now playin' his very own Brand New Custom Made Deering Banjo at the Homestead. Stop by and see it! He also plays guitar, violin (fiddle), mandolin, bass, and most any other stringed instrument. Greg's wife, Karen, has been married to him since 1972, given him two great boys, Wes and Noel. Greg and Karen have become grandparents to a new little girl, daughter of their son Wes and his wife Crel. Greg & Karen have a beautiful thirty-acre farm in Reavisville, Missouri where Greg has his recording studio and Karen has her chickens, hogs, dogs, and ponies. Greg has been playing fiddle so long, he can sleep during the "Orange Blossom Special". Greg is an expert at STRINGED INSTRUMENT REPAIR and owns the famous STONE COUNTY RECORDING STUDIO.Email Greg Bailey

BECKER

Greg Becker is the "song librarian" of the group with knowledge of thousands of old folk, country, gospel, civil war and odd tune lyrics. Greg plays so many instruments we can name only a few, like the upright bass, hammered dulcimer, harmonica, guitar, autoharp, and on and on and on.
Greg is a collector of ODD instruments, mostly from the latin world, but his latest accomplishment he must share with his wife Tia, their little girl, Cara. Tia is an instructor of Classical guitar at area colleges and Cara is a 'DANCER'. They live in Downtown Reeds Spring, Missouri. Greg LOVES hot peppers, the hotter the better.EMAIL Greg Becker
