As I said on my homepage, I have been a member of drama clubs since the third grade.  In my first performance, I was a bunny in a school Christmas performance. Later in the year, I was a mouse who wrote a news paper column. Later, I was in an OM (Odyssey of the Mind) production. I was a lawyer who defended Goldilocks in a trial. I did a pretty good job in writing that script with my team, and in performing.

After those beginning performances I was hooked. Unfortunately, I moved to an area  without a drama club. I then depended on writing scripts to perform with my cousins in order to get my share of drama. I was also privileged to get a few good parts in church productions, as well as several speaking opportunities. Soon I moved to Georgia and started drama club again in 6th grade.

Moving to Georgia I found my self back at the bottom. One of my first performances, I was a fence post with one line. Soon though, the opportunities started to role in. My first school production was Peter Pan. It took a while to get everyone in there roles, but I ended up as Lasso, a lost boy. Soon, however, the director soon put me as the understudy as Wendy, an honored place for a 6th grader.

Then in 7th grade, I got a chance to be in many more productions, with much better parts. First, I had the chance to direct a production in Drama class. The production did pretty well and I had a ton of fun. Soon It was time for the school production to start. The production was called Oz (A version of the Wizard of Oz) I had a ton of parts. I was a winged monkey, Oz citizen, fighting tree (all the costume changes were terrible!!!!), and (best of all) student director!!!!!!!!!!!! The play was pretty good and I got a lot of experience and learned a lot. Soon it was time for a church "road show". I got to help write it and a really good part. Our production was based on American Idol. I got the part of Allie Seascape (the Hostess). Then I was lucky enough to get in another drama class. We did a production about dead chickens. I got a lead (the character that I played was named Lillybelle) I also got to be student director, again. This production was pretty good (we performed to the same audience twice, and we forgot a lot of the lines but that's ok!)

Now the summer is ending and my middle school will start a new production. Rumors are that we will be doing a Midsummer's Night Dream (I'll link the script A.S.A.P.). My drama teacher has told me that she wants me to help direct it and I told her I wanted to do some acting. She told me I could probably do both!!!! I can't wait till the production, or till the class plays. Soon Drama club will start back up. Along with it, my journey. A journey that I started back even before third grade. A journey that could, who knows, lead me to Broadway!!!!!
