Several albums entitled Smash Hits have been released - and
they don't all contain the same tracks. This is my attempt at trying
to present a clear idea of what tracks are on which release.
The table consists of a row for each track, plus the header
row. The columns are for the track title, and one column for each of
the Smash Hits album releases.
A dark blue background in a cell indicates the track in that row is on the
album indicated by the column.

1This is the version that appeared on the original UK
release of Are You Experienced. 2This is the same basic version as the original, but has a
different vocal take by Jimi, and some ADT (automatic/artificial
double tracking) plus delay on vocals. This version was also released
on a German CD pressing of Are You Experienced on Polydor 825
416-2 (which means it wasn't the same album as the original Are You
Experienced). 3This is not the version that appeared on the original UK
release of Are You Experienced. This version has a different
vocal take, a different mix with more echo on the guitar and no studio
chat between Jimi and Chas.
