James Sundquist

The picture above is of James Sundquist. His mother, Eva, claims she and Jimi were lovers in 1969. Al Hendrix once paid for James and Eva to visit him, but says James is not Jimi's son. The courts in the UK and US threw out James's claim that he was Jimi's son, due to lack of evidence.

Jimi's lawyers did pay Eva around £30,000, but with no admission of fatherhood.

James says "The recognition is not for the money. It's just so people will believe me. I really don't like my dad's music that much."
