LEAGUE respects the privacy of its members – members don’t have to be "out" or gay to be in LEAGUE!
Membership in LEAGUE at AT&T is open to any AT&T employee or retiree who supports LEAGUE's mission and goals, regardless of his or her orientation. Many different people are members of LEAGUE: women and men; Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, and Whites; gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual; management and non-management; employees of many AT&T business units, corporate divisions, and subsidiaries.
Because some of the lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgendered members of LEAGUE may not feel comfortable being "out" in the workplace, membership lists remain private. All members agree to respect and maintain the privacy of other members in our organization.
LEAGUE has the support of AT&T Corporate Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity officials and has been written about in national media and our corporate newsletters. LEAGUE at AT&T is one of many Business Resource Groups at AT&T dedicated to treating each other with respect and dignity, and valuing individual and cultural differences.
