These are photos taken before the diving event. Clockwise from left: A yearbook photo from my Senior year in high school. (I should have saved some of that hair!) Followed by me posing for a friend during a summer break at church (ca.1977). And finally the following summer break as I was singing for relatives.
These are of me in my studio in 2008. The device on my head in the first photo is called a Headmaster made by Prentke-Romich. It allows me to control the cursor on my computer (instead of a mouse). The little black boxes on top of my head and above my ears send an infrared signal to a receiver on my computer screen (not shown). As I move my head, the cursor moves on the screen. Then when I blow in the white straw, it's the same as pushing the button on your mouse.
The other two clear straws are for my wheelchair. One controls movement (forward, reverse, left and right) and the other controls the reclining of the back of the chair.
