Off Limits

One night I dreamed I was standing with Jesus and I felt the urge to ask Him a question about the future. I began, "I don't suppose You would tell me..." then suddenly, I stopped. Not because I wanted to, but because I couldn't continue. I was unable to even think the question. It was as though He was preventing the thought from being expressed, It wasn't an immoral thought but it was clearly something He did not want me to ponder. He literally stopped my mind from thinking! It later occurred to me: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matt 6:34 NIV) |
