--LOTS OF NEWS--P.S. I'm BackYeah...so i've been "locked out" of the website for the past 2 or 3 months...but i'm back now. BIG NEWS--I COMPOSED A NEW SONG--yeah--I know...it's by far my favorite song so far. We are also going to go back and rework Dreaming to Sleep, Places, Dog Days, and I've also been working on completing another new song...the only info i'll give you about the song is that it's titled "Moonlighting." With the completion of that song we will head back into the Studio/Bedroom and record.
--POPCORN DAY NEWS--I just talked to Randy Reeves (which sounds like a pro wrestlers name..) and he said that if he makes the UNL drumline his band will most likely not be able to attend--THUS--guaranteeing us a spot to play.--BUT--if he doesn't make it and his band is scheduled to play AND the soundguy decides to be a douchebag we won't be able to play.
Letters From A FriendThe letter below came from some concerned viewers of the popular "Cartoon Network" channel.Dear Cartoon Network, We the viewers have a few things we need to get off our collective chests. First of all, we have a comment regarding "Miguzi." We happen to be loyal fans of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" cartoons but your idiotic Miguzi hosts render the program nearly unwatchable. If you corporate snobs would spend less time making cheesy animations and more time supplying your faithful viewers with quality programming, the world as we know it would be a better place. Furthermore, we have a few issues with the cartoonical content during the aforementioned "Miguzi" program. We are sick and tired of uninspired garbage such as "Teen Titans," et al, polluting our airwaves and are generally discussed by the notion that these shallow and unoriginal "cartoons" as you call them, should take away time slots from deservedly popular shows such as "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "Scooby Doo." Filling the time slots that these abhorrently bad "cartoons" now occupy with such insightful and intellectually challenging programs such as "Ren and Stimpy", "Rocko's Modern Life", and "Angry Beavers" would benefit your viewers and society as a whole. Now with regard to your "Adult Swim" programming, we have little but praise to give you. HOWEVER, your Anime shows make me feel like barfing on my television set. The "Adult Swim" commercials also annoy the living piss-shit out of me and my constituents and could use drastic revising. Also we have a few suggestions with regard to your gross overplaying of "Futurama" while, to my knowledge, your evil corporation has made no attempt to buy the rights to Matt Groening's finest work, "The Simpsons" (Seasons 1-8). At this point in our editorial, we would like to ask you whether you have children. If so, do you believe that the "Kids Next Door" demographic is likely to stay up past 11:00 watching cartoons on a Friday night? Furthermore, don't you think if said kids are shown that their favorite cartoon is aired late at night they will stay up every night waiting for their programs and instead being subjected to adult cartoons that will gradually rot out their young, innocent brains and turn them into thieves and prostitutes? We beg you to reconsider your Friday night lineup and return Adult Swim to its rightful time slot. In conclusion, we would like to complement you on your (mostly) admirable channel and hope you will keep on truckin'-AFTER the previously mentioned suggestions are followed.
