Immaculate Conception/St. Henry Parish

A Catholic Community Committed to its Neighborhood

Community Involvement

Our faith compels us to not only address the immediate needs of our neighbors, but also the societal causes of their needs. Our members are also involved in the following neighborhood and regional organizations:
  • SLACO (St. Louis Association for Community Organization) which has worked in our neighborhood to improve housing without displacing the current residents.
  • C4 (Churches Committed to Community Concerns) which organizes to address several issues in our area including education, housing, development, etc.
  • Stabilization efforts in our neighborhood. Our parish community has worked on various projects throughout the years to improve properties that could be rehabbed or have buildings torn down that were hazards to the neighborhood.
