TIPS FOR HEALTHY HAIR

1. If your scalp is burning while getting a relaxer, it is a sign that the chemical services that you are having performed are being done incorrectly. Make sure your scalp is based properly and the relaxer is applied 1 ˝ inch off of the scalp.

2. For damaged, dry and/or brittle hair deep conditioners and scalp treatments such as hot oils ect. Are recommended.

3. If you have dreadlocks or twist you’re not to constantly twist the ends of your hair, or it will cause breakage. The proper procedure is to have the roots retwisted, at least twice a month.

4. For hair growth you should exercise, take vitamins especially vitamin E, eat healthy, get sufficient rest, and massage scalp often.

5. To avoid ingrown hairs, you should not shave too closely.

6. Bald fades is a procedure that removes a layer of skin that causes ingrown hairs. This will ultimately lead to permanent baldness if there is not at least a 1-week waiting period between having this repeated.

7. If you have oily dandruff, I recommend you to use products with a high potency (70%) of Isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) this will cause the dandruff to dry out.

8. If you have dry dandruff, I recommend you to use scalp treatments, such as oils, moisturizing conditioners etc.

9. Brushing your hair to often to achieve healthy hair is a myth!

10. Place a thirty-day period between getting a relaxer and a tint, and thirty days between your color and your next relaxer.
