This Months Top Three Favorite Breeds:
First on my list is the Shiba-Inu, it's likeness to a teddy bear in the face I find un"bear"ably irresistible. This breed was originated in Japan and was first registered by the AKC in 1997. They grow to be 13.5 to 16.5 inches tall at the withers and weigh somewhere in between 18 & 25 lbs. Second is the Irish Wolfhound. Originating in Ireland it was first registered by the AKC in 1897 and is the largest dog breed (EVER) growing to be 28 to 35 inches tall at the withers and weighs in between 90 & 120 lbs. And last but not least is the Irish Setter. First registered by the AKC in 1878 I find the long snout, floppy ears, and big brown eyes completely adorable. It grows to be 25 to 27 inches at the withers and weighs in between 60 & 70 lbs.
