Strawberry Rhubarb Jam

5 cups Rhubarb -- diced
6 ounces Jello -- strawberry
4 cups Sugar

Mix rhubarb and sugar together and let stand overnight. In morning, cook mixture until rhubarb is soft. Remove from heat and stir in jello until it is dissolved. Jar and seal.

Note#1: This is very tasty when made with orange jelatin, too.

Note #2: You can seal in a hot water bath, using store bought canning jars with lids; or by using a hot wax seal. To do the hot wax seal, just pour melted hot wax over the jam and set. Seal with jar lid. This is a good method if you just plan on saving various jars/lids for canning, and not using store bought canning jars.
