Hey...! Did you think I forgot? Not a chance...:)   I would however, like to forget this game...   not a good start...:(
Things looked good in the first quarter... But a missed 30 yard chip shot????   That simply set the tone....    Drops... fumbles... interceptions.... Ouch...:(     Actually they got their points because of our errors ...   the defense was ok... I'm thinkin Donnie and Derrick will we fun!...  
Well things can only get better from here... GoChiefs!!!

Well the defense looks like fun... the double D's (Derek and Donnie) will be a presence...   What about Jared Allen... Was he ready to play or what? Can he continue that intinsity over the long season?   We shall see...     Offense - Hopefully Huard has cleared the cob-webs and is ready now...   He certainly has some targets...   A threat at WR will benefit TonyG I'm sure...   But, what about Bowe... some fancy catchin there...:))
On to SanDiego... Is momentum on our side? Both teams are playing pouting running backs... which should even the playing field a bit...    GoChiefs!!!

It's a great thing, having an exciting defense...   Would like to have an exciting offense a the same time tho... things looked promising this week...   If not this year, well it is definately in our future...:))
Derrik, Donnie and Allen contributed again... this time he had some help from their mates...:)  Hope someone told Breckenridge how to hold the ball when he's running (and when to start celebrating)!!! He scared me...:))
23 offensive points... and 7 for the defense!!!   I understand why they gave up on the rookie kicker .... apparently we are going to need that phase of the game... Rayner seems to fit the need...  But maybe... just maybe... Huard and his targets (Tony and Bowe) will make us use him sparingly now...:)   Can you emagine the potential when Kennison comes back? Wow....  Oh no...  wait a minute...    There's one thing in the way of that plan...   Herm... not a fan of an offense...   Maybe we can sneak in some more exciting offensive fun from time to time...:))

All I can say is...   If it's not working, why the hell do they keep doing it??...    Little swing toss to Johnson for minus yards... over and over... STOP IT ALREADY!!!     Was Solari even at the game last week? (now that could explain the good fortune against the Chargers...lol) How did he just ignore Bowe??   Yes... TonyG was catching great... but ...     Oh, what do I know... I'm just a girl...
The first drive... (just as in the first game) set the tone...  great drive and a missed chip FG.   So what do ya do...   get ready for a game next week...:) We are still 2nd in the division...lol

Congratulations TonyG!! Most TD's for a Tight End in the history of the NFL!!!
I've taken a while to write here because each time I began, things came out so negative...   We won... I should be all positive...  So I have waited...   and well I'm better, but ... Here goes... LJ.. ohhh LJ... finally got his TD and 100 yards!   Sounds good and looks even better on paper... but ya gotta see the big picture here...  First half he ran for 106 yards (34 on one play and he fumbled at the end so it shouldn't count...:)) Yea for us! ...  But he finished the game with 119 yards... that's just 13 yards!!   He had the same number of carries each half... and about 10 carries for negative or zero yards...  How does that help?...  He thinks we should be mad at the line for not giving him BIG holes to run through?   Waaaa... I don't think so... for 14 million dollars he should be able to make his own...  We need a first down... thats his stinkin job!!!   we don't need his pitty parties.. and penalties...   Seeeeee what I mean? ... (I do feel better now though...lol) 
We won ... We are in first place in the West!! Yea...    Go Chiefs!!

Always nice to go to Oakland and win...   we now have 2 division road wins!! That could come in handy down the road...:))
Good guys this week.... D.Bowe - I think I'm gunna like him...:))   Tony as always...   Dustin Colquitt is a great punter, but you know that....  Priest Holmes came out of the woods and actually played!...   Paige gets an interception in Oakland again!! ...  Damon Huard took a beating but continued to produce when needed....   Darek and Donnie lead the defense... and OK... even LJ gets a nod here... not great by any means, but he looked like he put forth some effort this time...:))   And then there is that wild man, Jared Allen... he is possessed or something...lol...     There you have it.... lotsa good stuff...   Don't think I'll talk about the negative stuff this week... not even the missed field goal... nope.. not even that...LOL

Turned out to be a pretty fun game... until the end!   Who invited Brett Farve to the party? We were doing just fine without him...:))   I was happy last week in the Denver game when he did that "late in the game-come from behind-perfect catch him in stride-80 yard catch and run for a TD thing"   But this week... No so much!! :(
Maybe TonyG should have brought some of his friends to play... He was putting on a clinic! 10 catches... and half our total offensive yards were his!   Thank you Tony!     There were some nice catches from the other guys too... Parker and Webb... just not so many...  LJ's 30 yard reception and run in for the TD was nifty (especially since he wasn't doing anything on the ground... but that's not his fault is it? LOL)    And ohhh too bad we weren't doing the no-huddle or hurry-up thing after Webb's catch for 36 yards late?   Overturning that call really took the spark away...:(  
Hey... but there is good news!! ... We're still in 1st place!!   Everyone in the division lost... badly too...:))   Aren't those two division road wins looking mighty nice now?? :))
