Mewsette: My New Page
|
Mroww! I am Mewsette. Welcome to my new purrsonal page, where I am going to haf lots to meow about and lots of purrty things to put on it! My old page got sooo long cause I am sooo talkative, I had to start a new one!
I am 15 years old now, but mew can see I am still a purrty gorgeous cat. Of course I am way too modest to say so! |
I am furry happy to be back in the New CLAW, and get lotsa places to meow stuff again! Mew can see my new CLAW Page here! I just answered Question of the Month there, about what my fafurite cat activity is, and this is what I meowed:
My fafurite cat activity is purring. Why purring, and not hunting or sleeping or something else cats do better than any other creature? First because purring is a special thing only cats can do, and proves our superiority ofur all other creatures. Next, because purring comes from within us, and shows how soft and loving and caring our kitty hearts are. Also because purring helps those we love to feel better and happier when we purr fur them. And last - notice how I put it last! - because purring is the furry best way to get my mom to do something fur me that I want her to do. It works efen better than pouting under the table, and is efur so much nicer!
This is My Biography
My name is Mewsette and I am 15 years old and I do love to talk. I'm a longhaired calico with lots of white and I haf beautiful green eyes and I still haf my slim figure, too. My mom calls me the Marilyn Monroe of cats, or Her Majesty Queen of the Universe - I do love to be properly adored.
I was born under the house April 4, 1986, and mom had to crawl under and dig out us kittens and our mother. She says she knew I was special the minute I dropped into her hands. My little sisfur and two brofurs crossed Rainbow Bridge many years ago but I stayed and haf been the heart of our home all my life, so my mom says. Of course, that means I rule our home!
We lived in Texas when I was young, and I was allowed outside in those days so I sure used to get into a lot of trouble. (Not that I wasn't purrfecty behaved then, as now!) We had chickens out back and I liked to spend time in some clean hay in their house, watching ofur them. I nefur had babies of my own so I kinda took care of them. They were so used to me they were not afraid, and I kept the mice out of their food. Mom had to go get me out of the chickenhouse every night because I wasn't allowed out overnight.
But then we moved away to a mountain in another state, and that was a terrifying experience, let me tell you! The first morning I was so scared of all the people and noise, I bolted out the front door. I ran and ran, and then I was lost in deep woods fur two weeks. After a few days I could not hunt food, cause my breakaway collar didn't break away when I tried to get it off. The bell on it was warning my prey! I got the collar looped around one front leg and it was rubbing furry sore spots on me and I couldn't run. I know my mom was searching fur me the whole time. I could hear her calling sometimes, but I couldn't find her or my house. There was only a strange house where she was. It was cold and rainy outside too, and there was scary stuff in the woods. I was getting furry weak.
Then one evening Mom called and called me and nefur stopped, and I finally crept near and saw her. I was so wild and hurt and scared by then, she had to go to me furry slowly and talk all our special words to me, so I would know fur sure it was her. Finally she picked me up and took me inside, and oh my, she was crying so much! She cut the collar off me and doctored my hurt skin, and I ate and ate! I was so hungry! My beautifur fur was ruined and matted, and it took a long time fur me to heal up and get my fur gorgeous again. That was on Easter Sunday, and my 8th birthday was the next day. It was a true new beginning, fur I nefur went outside again. I became an indoor cat, and haf lived comfortably and safe fur almost double that life now! I am so glad I was found!
It was furry hard to become an indoor cat when I used to run free and hunt, lie in the sun, feel the wind, and camp out with the chickens. But I got used to it, and now that I'm older I see that it's much better not to get too hot and lost and chased by d*gs and get fleas and stickers in my fur, and I sure don't mind being pampurred and comfortable these days.
Sefural years later we had to move again, and I was really scared about it. But that time we had "moving men" do it and Mom took care of us cats - me, my old mother Bam Bam, and Phelicity (no relation) by herself. So we were all safe and it wasn't too bad after all. I guess it was about then that I started feeling my age a little bit. After all, as Mom says, we are no kitten any more! I haf found it difficult to grow older. I was nefur a calm kitty or a quiet one, and I wanted to be young and strong and beautifur furefur. Well, I am still beautifur of course, but I hate getting out of breath when I play and tripping on steps when I used to be so graceful. But I will try to haf a good cattitude, look on each new day wif joy and expect things to go well. I'll be satisfied to be an older lady cat living a quiet life, as long as I am still Queen around here. Which, of course, I am. Mewsette ~^..^~
Although I am glad to be back home in the new CLAW now, I haf been doing ofur things, too. I always loved ofur cats instead of hoomans. I am furry much a club kitty, cause I like mewing wif ofur cats. I like making speeches and getting involved in cat things, and mew can tell I like writing! I joined some ofur clubs when CLAW closed last year but I didn't stay in them. They just weren't the same.
