                                            Wiley Receives Lifesaving Award

                                                         5 September 2005

 

 

Maj Kathleen Wiley Receives her Lifesaving Award from Branson Tri-Lakes Composite Squadron Commander, 1^st Lt Sandra Potocki. Maj Wiley saved Group V Commander, Maj Edward Leonard’s life by taking him to a hospital in Branson, Mo right after he had suffered a severe heart attack. Maj Leonard is pictured in the rear.

              

                                                Pendergraft Receives Amelia Earhart Award

C/Capt Seth Pendergraft receives his Amelia Earhart Award from Missouri Wing Commander, Col Joe Casler, at the Missouri Wing’s 2005 Summer Encampment at Whiteman AFB, Mo.

 

                                             C/1^st Sgt Promoted to C/MSgt

C/TSgt Krystal Thomason, (the Squadron’s C/1^st Sgt), was promoted to C/MSgt by the Squadron’s Cadet Commander, C/Capt Seth Pendergraft at the Squadron’s weekly meeting on 29 August 2005.

                                                  Tour of the Branson Balloon

The Branson Tri-Lakes Composite Squadron took a tour recently of one of the newest attractions in Branson, the Branson Balloon. Squadron members got to go inside the balloon & see the balloon’s instruments, and was shown a video of the balloon’s history & how it is made.

 

 

 

The balloon’s pilot, Rodney Williams, shows the Cadets how the balloon operates. Cadets from the Left to right are: C/MSgt Krystal Thomason, C/SSgt Austin Thomason, & C/Capt Seth Pendergraft.

 

                                                        Springfield, Mo Fly-In

                                                               10 September 2005

 

The Branson Tri-Lakes Composite Squadron helped the Springfield Regional Composite Squadron conduct operations with a fly-in at the Downtown Airport in Springfield, Mo. Members assisted with the fly-in by helping direct traffic, set up & take down tents & booths & also did recruiting for CAP. Branson Tri-Lakes Composite Squadron members who participated are: C/Capt Seth Pendergraft, C/SSgt Michael Mountain & C/SSgt Austin Thomason.
