Self Catering Cottage in Capel Curig, Snowdonia
Ty Bont
Ty Bont nestles in a sheltered, but sunny spot in Capel Curig, with a fine view from the front windows of Moel Siabod, 2,860ft. The River Llugwy is across the road and close by are the spectacular Cyfyng Falls.
The cottage, being in the National Park, is an excellent centre for walking, climbing, or touring, with the beaches of Anglesey, the Lleyn Peninsula, and the North Wales coast less than an hour’s drive away. The area offers a wide variety of other attractions from the Snowdon Mountain Railway and the castles of Caernarfon, Conwy, Harlech and Beaumaris to the slate quarries of Blaenau Ffestiniog.
There are two hotels within easy walking distance offering a variety of bar meals and a third, specialising in vegetarian food, half a mile further on.
