Same and Plus Wall

There are two 'Wall' rules in place on TripleTriad.com, both are useful when playing against or with higher level cards, mid levels are not as effective. TripleTriadX.com has opted for traditional rules, and so only offers Same Wall.

Same Wall
The original 'Wall' rule, 'Same Wall' gives the border of the playing area an Ace (10) value on all sides.

On the diagram above, the edges marked in blue all have an Ace (10) value (although this blue marking does not appear in the actual game). Therefore, the blue Behemoth card will be turned over by the red Bahamut card because there are two pairs of values...the two sides with 6 paired, and the Bahamut A side paired with the wall.

Plus Wall
'Plus Wall' is a rule not available on Final Fantasy VIII, however it is fairly self explanatory once you know about 'Same Wall'. Basically, instead of having the values match each other, they must add up to the same total as in 'Plus', but with the inclusion of the wall as an A on all sides.

In this diagram, the Anacondaur card (red) turns over the Diablos card (blue) because the values add up to the same number...A + 5 on the Anacondaur's left side, and A (the wall)+ 5 on the top side.
