Same and Plus

The same and plus rules are essential for any Triple Triad player with weak cards since they are not dependent on the cards having high values.

Same
If you place a card, and the values on two of its sides are the same as the values on two (or more) adjacent cards already in place on the board, these two adjacent cards will be turned over and made yours.

In the example above, the Behemoth (red) card will turn over the Bite Bug and Malboro cards because the same numbers 3 and 7 are matching on both sides.

Plus
The 'Plus' rule requires two adjacent card sides to add up to the same number. For example, cards with values of 2 and 5 on adjacent sides make 7, as do cards with 4 and 3 on their adjacent sides.

In the example above, the Diablos (red) card will turn over both the Bite Bug and Malboro cards due to the numbers on the two adjacent sides adding up to equal the same number...
7 + 8 = 15 and A(10) + 5 = 15.
