Joel Blum (Nathan Detroit) is making his debut with Missouri Repertory Theatre. In New York he has received Tony Award nominations for Best Featured Actor for Showboat in 1997 (which he also played in London) and for Steel Pier (1997) and he has also appeared on Broadway in The Music Man, A Christmas Carol, Stardust, and 42nd Street (original company). Off Broadway, Mr. Blum has appeared in Game Show, And the World Goes Round (Drama Logue Award and Helen Hayes Best Actor nominations for tour presentations), Godspell, and Annie Get Your Gun with Debbie Reynolds. At the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland, he has appeared in The Taming of the Shrew with Robin Williams. Mr. Blum's resident theatre credits include Jimmy Durante in A Saint She Ain't at Berkshire Theatre Festival and Westport Playhouse, Tin Pan Alley Rag at Wilma Theatre (Barrymore Award for Best Supporting Actor), Animal Crackers at Huntington Theatre Company, and Peg O' My Heart at McCarter Theatre Center and American Stage Festival. His opera credits include Orpheus in the Underworld for Houston Grand Opera and Michigan Opera Company. Mr. Blum has appeared on the television shows "Law & Order" and "Ed."

Jane Bodle (Sarah Brown) is a native of Lawrence, KS, and is appearing at Missouri Rep for the first time having performed in seven Broadway musical productions. She has appeared as Fantine in Les Miserables, Ellen in Miss Saigon, Betty Schaeffer in Sunset Boulevard, Sally in Me and My Girl, Demeter in Cats, Maggie in A Chorus Line, and in Dream. She most recently appeared as Amanda in Private Lives at New Harmony Theatre. Ms. Bodle has played leading roles at Second Stage Theatre in New York, at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, and at the O'Neill Center. Her film and television credits include Catch Me If You Can, The Object of My Affection, and the daytime drama "Another World."

Chris Payne Dupré (Ensemble) is performing for the first time at the Rep. Mr. Dupre has appeared on Broadway in the original cast of Aida and has performed with such artists as Diana Ross, Janet Jackson and Prince. His film and television credits include That Thing You Do, Newsies, Congo, "Cinderella" (Disney), "Moesha," "The 68th Annual Academy Awards," "The MTV Video Music Awards," and "Super Bowls XXX and XXXII."

Steve Emerson (Angie the Ox) continues his work with Missouri Rep, having made his debut earlier this season in A Christmas Carol. Elsewhere around Kansas City, Mr. Emerson has appeared in Phantom, Jekyll and Hyde, Big River, and Fiddler on the Roof for Starlight Theatre, Oklahoma! for Gladstone Theatre in the Park, and Robin Hood, Tom Sawyer, and Pinocchio for Theatre for Young America. He also is resident playwright for the Theatrical Company of St. Mary College. Mr. Emerson has appeared in regional and international television commercials, and he played Ichabod in the National Public Radio production of The Headless Horseman.

Matt Farnsworth (Sky Masterson) is appearing for the first time at the Rep in Guys and Dolls. He has appeared on Broadway in Tommy and Cats, in the Toronto and Vancouver productions of Sunset Boulevard (with Diahann Carroll) and at the O'Neill Theatre Festival in Lil Budda. His credits also include Betty's Summer Vacation at Yale Repertory Theatre, Floyd Collins at Theatre Works for which he received a Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award nomination, Summer of '42 at Goodspeed Theatre, Wind in the Willows at New Victory Theatre, A Christmas Carol at Syracuse Stage and Grease (with Lea Salonga) at Meralco Theatre in Manila. On television, Mr. Farnsworth has appeared on the daytime drama "All My Children" and has been featured on "The Conan O'Brien Show."

Dann Fink (Benny Southstreet) continues his work with Missouri Rep having appeared as Irving Tashman in Morning Star and as Paul in Company. Mr. Fink's other resident theatre credits include Ragtime at North Shore Music Theatre, Falsettos at Pittsburgh Public Theater, Company at the Huntington Theatre Company, and Accomplice at StageWest. He has appeared on Broadway and toured nationally in Les Miserables, appeared off Broadway in Mating Habits of the Urban Male, and performed in Placido Domingo's Vlad at the Lamb's Theatre in New York. Mr. Fink's film and television credits include Woody Allen's Mighty Aphrodite, Labor Pains, "Sex and the City," "Pulp Comics," and "One Life to Live." He was a founding member of L.A. Theatre Sports and has appeared at Gotham City Improv in New York and with the Groundlings Improv Troupe in Los Angeles.

Roger Lee Israel (Ensemble) is appearing for the first time at MRT. He was a member of the original Broadway company and the first national tour of Saturday Night Fever and has appeared in A Few Good Men Dancing and Dare to Dream (a benefit for the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation) in New York. He also has performed with Siegfried and Roy in Las Vegas, in The Nutcracker with Dallas Repertoire Ballet, in Hot Cha Cha and Wahoo Baby for Merv Griffin Resorts, and in productions for Princess Cruises.

Anthony Jackson (Ensemble) is making his Missouri Rep debut in Guys and Dolls. He has worked with choreographer Daniel Pelzig in Showboat and Carousel at the Hollywood Bowl, Samson and Delilah at Houston Grand Opera and Los Angeles Opera, and Giulio Cesare and Aida at Los Angeles Opera. On television he has appeared in "The Parkers" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" for the Disney Channel. Mr. Jackson has studied with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.

Alicia Jenkins-Ewing (Ensemble) is returning to the Rep after performing in A Christmas Carol as a youth. She has appeared in The Wrestling Season at the Coterie Theatre (and also the Kennedy Center in Washington), in The Music Man and Camelot at New Theatre Restaurant, in A Doll's House, Blood Wedding, The King and I, and Ah, Wilderness! at William Jewell College, in Jekyll and Hyde and Little Shop of Horrors at Starlight Theatre, and also in Rocky and Bullwinkle and Anne Frank and Me at the Coterie Theatre.

Gary Neal Johnson (Arvide Abernathy) is continuing a long line of work with Missouri Repertory Theatre having just appeared as Scrooge for the third year in A Christmas Carol and as the Archbishop in the Rep's acclaimed production of Saint Joan. Mr. Johnson's other recent appearances at MRT include Morning Star, The Winter's Tale, and Major Barbara, and he has also acted at the Rep as Pizarro in The Royal Hunt of the Sun, Gallimard in M. Butterfly, the Professor in Oleanna, Julius Caesar in Julius Caesar, George in Of Mice and Men, and Squeers in Nicholas Nickleby. Last summer Mr. Johnson appeared at Starlight Theatre as the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz. Additional Kansas City credits include performances at American Heartland Theatre in Driving Miss Daisy, at New Theatre Restaurant in The Sound of Music, and at Heart of America Shakespeare Festival in the title role in King Lear. Mr. Johnson's film and television credits include Baa Baa Black Sheep, Friendly Persuasion, Spirit of the Season, "Burden of Proof," "Cross of Fire," and "Murder Ordained."

Kevin Lee (Ensemble) is appearing for the first time at Missouri Repertory Theatre. His experience in musical productions includes The Merry Widow and Aida with Los Angeles Opera, Showboat and Carousel at the Hollywood Bowl, and Theatre League tours of The Music Man, The Will Rogers Follies, and 42nd Street. Mr. Lee has appeared in the films Being John Malkovich, Men in White, I'll Do Anything, and Starship Troopers. He has also performed in the television film "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and in stage productions of Atlantis, Tarzan, 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story and Pocahontas for Buena Vista Pictures.

Melinda MacDonald (General Cartwright) is returning to Missouri Rep, having appeared previously in The Imaginary Invalid and Dancing at Lughnasa. Her Kansas City credits include leading roles in Camelot and The Sound of Music at New Theatre Restaurant, Uh-Oh, Here Comes Christmas, The All Night Strut, The Taffetas, A Grand Night for Singing and What the Butler Saw at American Heartland Theatre, Because He Can, Sight Unseen and Quilters at the Unicorn Theatre, and Jekyll and Hyde at Starlight Theatre. At Quality Hill Playhouse she has appeared in Noel and Gertie, Cabaret Swings and All Sinatra in addition to concerts for the past eight seasons. Ms. MacDonald also has been a featured soloist with the Kansas City Symphony, most recently in The Magic of Christmas. In Milwaukee she has appeared in Cabaret and Oh, Coward! at Skylight Opera and in The Crucible, A Christmas Carol, Two Brothers, Tartuffe, Hula Hoop Shaboop and Two By Five at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. In Chicago she has appeared in an extended run of Nunsense at Wellington Theater. In addition, Ms. MacDonald has been a stuntwoman for Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Mays (Ensemble) is returning to Missouri Rep in Guys and Dolls, having appeared in Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and The Last Night of Ballyhoo. Ms. Mays has also appeared in Beau Jest, Over the River and Through the Woods, Gypsy and George Washington Slept Here at New Theatre Restaurant, Swingtime Canteen and Christmas at the Ritz at American Heartland Theatre, and Rocky and Bullwinkle at the Coterie Theatre. Her film and television credits include Half Family, Terminal Interface, "Unsolved Mysteries," and "Monday after the Miracle" with Roma Downey. Ms. Mays is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Vincent Onofrio Monachino (Big Jule) continues his work at the Rep having appeared in The Comedy of Errors and Oedipus the King. He also has appeared at the Unicorn Theatre in Bat Boy, at New Theatre Restaurant in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Father of the Bride, at Quality Hill Playhouse in Gift of the Magi, and The Odd Potato, at Starlight Theatre in The Music Man and at Martin City Melodrama in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Cocoanuts, and Ali Baba and the Forty Year Old Thieves. He also has appeared as Albin in La Cage aux Folles, as Danny in Grease, and as the voice of Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors.

Zoie Morris (Ensemble) is appearing for the first time at MRT. In New York she has appeared on Broadway in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Ragtime and Porgy and Bess, at Radio City Music Hall in the Christmas Spectacular, and Harlem Song at the Apollo Theatre. She has toured nationally in Ragtime and with Barry Manilow. Ms. Morris' regional credits include Seduction at Marymount Manhattan Theatre, Once on This Island at Hilton Head Playhouse, A Raisin in the Sun at Tidewater Theatre, and The Pajama Game at Center Stage. She has appeared in the films The Peace Maker and Godzilla and on the television in "Law & Order," "Sex and the City," and "Way Cool." Ms. Morris is a graduate of North Carolina School for the Arts and also trained at the Broadway Dance Center.

Stephanie Nelson (Ensemble) made her MRT debut in Company. Her credits as an actress, dancer, and singer include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Gypsy at New Theatre Restaurant, the world premiere of Coyote Tales at the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Bye Bye Birdie at Starlight Theatre, and numerous performances with the Wylliams/Henry Dance Theatre. Ms. Nelson graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and appeared there in The Way of the Heart and also off-Broadway in New York in Beginnings. She trained with the San Francisco Ballet School and at American Dance Center in Kansas City. Her film and television credits include Body Shots and Passenger.

Lauretta Pope (Ensemble) continues her work with Missouri Repertory Theatre having just appeared for the second year as the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol. As a student at the UMKC Conservatory of Music, she has performed in Songs for a New World, Into the Woods, and Bastien and Bastienne. She has also performed in A Little Night Music for Civic Opera of Kansas City, The King and I at Lake Area Performing Arts Guild, and also in Grease, George M!, South Pacific, Cinderella, Arsenic and Old Lace, You Can't Take It with You, and Our Town.

Mark Robbins (Lt. Brannigan/Joey Biltmore) is a veteran of many productions for Missouri Repertory Theatre where he has most recently performed for his third year as Dickens in A Christmas Carol. Mr. Robbins has also appeared at the Rep in Saint Joan, Work Song: Three Views of Frank Lloyd Wright, in which he also appeared at Arizona Theatre Company, and The Winter's Tale. His many previous Rep performances include Major Barbara, The Sea Gull, Inherit the Wind, Oedipus the King, The Deputy, Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, and Nicholas Nickleby. At the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival he has played the title roles in Macbeth and Richard III as well as Prospero in The Tempest. At the Unicorn Theatre, Mr. Robbins has performed in Closer and Speed-the-Plow. His performances at American Heartland Theatre include Sherlock's Last Case, What the Butler Saw, and Solitary Confinement, and he has appeared at the Coterie Theatre in To Kill a Mockingbird. In Chicago, he has performed at Northlight Theatre in Benefactors, at Steppenwolf Theatre in Our Town, at the Oak Park Festival Theater in Julius Caesar, and at Court Theatre in The Oresteia, The Lady's Not For Burning, The Rivals, Arms and the Man, and The Birthday Party. At Boston Shakespeare Company, he performed in Romeo and Juliet and Private Lives. Mr. Robbins received his B.A. from Webster College Conservatory and his M.F.A. from Wayne State University.

Richard Ruiz (Nicely-Nicely Johnson) is making his debut at Missouri Repertory Theatre. He has appeared on the European tour of Jesus Christ Superstar as King Herod and the national tour of Man of La Mancha as Sancho Panza. His regional theatre credits include Picasso at the Lapin Agile at Theatre Virginia, Moby Dick, Secret Lives of the Sexists, and Life Is A Dream at the Berkshire Theatre Festival and Wings, You Can't Take It With You, She Loves Me, The Pirates of Penzance, and Red Noses at Connecticut Repertory Theatre. Mr. Ruiz has been nominated for Philadelphia's Barrymore Award for Best Supporting Actor for Baby Face at the Arden Theatre Company.

Katie Shepard (Agatha) is appearing for the first time at the Rep, having performed throughout Kansas City. She has appeared at New Theatre Restaurant in The Scarlet Pimpernel, the Coterie Theatre in A Little Princess, and Princess Squid Productions as Joan in Joan the Maid. For the University of Missouri Department of Theatre, where she is expected to complete her M.F.A. degree this year, Ms. Shepard has appeared in The Misanthrope, My Mother Said I Never Should, Le Cid, Anything to Declare?, Another Part of the Forest, and The Tempest.

Tia Speros (Adelaide) made her debut at Missouri Rep as Amy in Company. Her resident theatre credits also include a recent appearance as Lily St. Regis in Annie at Paper Mill Playhouse, the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz at North Shore Music Theatre, George M! at Goodspeed Opera House, Company at the Huntington Theatre Company, Das Barbecu at Dallas Theatre Center, Harvey at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Falsettoland at Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, You Can't Take It With You for Cleveland Play House, and Lucky Stiff (for which she received a Helen Hayes Award nomination) and Lend Me a Tenor at Olney Theatre Centre. Off-Broadway Ms. Speros has appeared in The Cocoanuts at American Place Theatre and in The Taffetas (original cast recording). She has appeared in the independent short film Believe and on television in "Out of the Box." Ms. Speros earned her degree in theatre from San Jose State University.

Roger Strong (Ensemble) is returning to the Rep after having appeared last year in Work Song: Three Views of Frank Lloyd Wright. He has appeared locally in The Clouds for Gorilla Theatre and Small Craft Warnings, Neutral and The Spirit Guide at Westport Coffee House and in print and television commercials. Mr. Strong has appeared in the film Principal.

Dean Vivian (Rusty Charlie/Hot Box Master of Ceremonies) has been an actor for twenty-one years, working alongside Oscar, Tony and Emmy winners such as Paul Newman, Martin Sheen, Colleen Dewhurst, Gary Sinise, Patty Duke and Ang Lee. He has appeared in over 100 Equity productions (Guys and Dolls is his 9th at MRT), 200 films, and has performed in over 1,500 radio and television commercials across the nation. His favorite local roles include Tony in Shear Madness, Stu in Talk Radio, and Peter in The Heidi Chronicles. Mr. Vivian also has served on the national boards of AEA, AFTRA, and SAG.

James Wright (Harry the Horse) is a veteran Kansas City performer making his debut at MRT in Guys and Dolls. His extensive Kansas City credits include You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Sylvia, Dames at Sea, The 1940s Radio Hour, Christmas at the Ritz, Funny Money, and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at American Heartland Theatre, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Music Man, You Can't Take It with You, South Pacific, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Don't Dress for Dinner at New Theatre Restaurant, A Little House Christmas at the Coterie Theatre, and The Gift of the Magi, A New Year's Eve Cabaret, A Broadway Christmas, Amazing Grace, Oscar Sings, A Salute to Richard Rodgers, and many additional cabaret performances at Quality Hill Playhouse.
