Clinic Definitions:
Level 1 Primary - The Partnership Clinic teaches the foundation of Level 1 and gives you an accelerated start in natural horsemanship. This clinic covers: understanding horse psychology; The Seven Games that horses play to establish trust and respect; the importance of body language and how to use it effectively; how focus/body position affects performance.
Level 1 ADVANCING - Reviews and refines the Seven Games on the ground and adds: effective rein positions; how to apply your ground skills to riding and improved riding through developing an independent seat.
Level 2 - This covers the foundations of the study of Level 2, and develops a new level of respect with more feel between horse and human. Advance your skills as you learn: to encourage positive reflexes on the ground and in the saddle; more exercises to develop an independent seat; how to gain impulsion (where go equals whoa); what it takes to accomplish leads and lead changes.
Level 3
Gone are the days of exaggerating in order to teach; now you will refine what is already there as a foundation. You will develop accuracy, more feel, and precision. Your communications will become subtle, almost invisible to the observer. Level 3 helps you find a new level of grace and finesse. You will discover the benefits of Vertical Flexion and how to achieve the early stages of collection through respect, impulsion and flexion properly and naturally combined. The foundation is made up of the Four Savvys, two on the ground (On Line and Liberty) and two on the horse’s back (FreeStyle and Finesse). Each level in this Savvy System focuses on these savvys at different degrees until at Level 3 Refinement they all balance out equally.
