Tony is a Parelli level 3 graduate and has attended two colt starting programs with Pat Parelli at the Parelli International Study Center. After the first program, Pat awarded Tony the distinction of 3 Star Horse Specialist. Tony resigned from the Parelli organization 9/1/06.
Tony is currently developing horses from young and green up to finished saddle horses for competition at versatility events.
Tony's early experiences with horses include starting mules on an Arizona ranch and galloping both Quarter Horses and Thoroughbred race horses. His horse hobbies include cutting, ranch cow work and reining.
Tony is also a talented natural farrier. Tony has ridden with Pat and Linda Parelli, World Champion Cutting horse trainer, Leon Harrel and the "guru" of all reining horse champion trainers, Jack Brainard. Tim McQuay (Hollywood Dun It) and Wayne Lucas (Kentucky Derby noted trainer) were also Jack's students. He also rode with Ronnie Willis, Pat Parelli’s mentor.
LESSONS and LESSON PRICES
Tony gives lessons and his regular price for private lessons is $50/hour. Semi-private lessons are $45 (two horses) and group rates for three more more horses is $45/hour.

Tony Vaught started riding horses at age 9 and never stopped. He has spent thousands of hours applying the principles of Natural Horsemanship to young, green and difficult horses. A number of these were “last stop” horses ie… the horse was destined for the “final auction”.
