HORSE Problems and Development CLINIC

Saturday, June 16th
This clinic will be presented by Tony Vaught.

Proving again that some things are so old, they seem new, Tony Vaught is coming to Twin Springs Equestrian Center in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to help people resolve their problem(s) with their horse. Tony will use the principles of Natural Horsemanship to resolve problems or help 'start on the right path' you and your horse.

This event will be from 9:00 to 4:00, Saturday, June 16, 2007. Auditors are Welcome!

At the beginning of the 20th Century, Americans still needed a great deal from our friend, the horse. We relied on the horse for transportation, for agriculture for commerce and for warfare. Nearly every man, woman and child had some measure of experience with horses. For more than 6,000 years, man had tried to bridge the chasm that existed between the ultimate predator, man and the ultimate prey animal, the horse. Nature has programmed horse to be anything but a servant to man. The revolution in horsemanship is growing by leaps and bounds.

Tony Vaught has been developing horses using these principles for the past many years. He has started thousands of young horses, restarted almost as many and had many problem horses come to him as the last hope before the “final auction”.

Tony Vaught started riding horses at age 9 and never stopped. Tony’s past experience includes starting mules on an Arizona ranch and galloping both Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred racehorses. Tony was a Parelli professional for many years and rode many times with both Pat and Linda Parelli. Tony has ridden with World Champion Cutting horse trainer, Leon Harrel and the “guru” of all reining horse champion trainers, Jack Brainard. Tim McQuay (Hollywood Dun It) and Wayne Lucas (Ky.Derby trainer) were also Jack’s students.

Now that horses are our “hobbies”, we humans now realize that the relationship with our horse is the starting point to a horse and human partnership. Tony will help each participant overcome problems with their horses such as:
