COLT START CAMP

October 29 and October 30, 2010

A two day Colt Start will be held at the Big Barn Ranch in Stockton Missouri with Tony Vaught.
Tony earned his three star Colt Start certificate in the Parelli organization and has started thousands of young horses in addition to restarting horses that didn't have a much of a chance in their early development.

Many people would like to be involved in their colt's process from the beginning stage of the process. However many people are not confident of their own abilities to bring along a colt and don't want to send the colt to a professional trainer. This Colt Start Camp is an "inbetween" step. You will be involved and have expert coaching and help all the way. You won't have to put the first ride(s) on the colt.

You will gain a better understanding of the colt starting process and help to stay safe from the inherent dangers of starting a young horse.

Colt Starting Camp is a real life application of the seven yields and the savvy that it takes to get a colt comfortable with saddle and rider.

Also, if you have a colt that has had 30 or 60 days of training and you were not able to ride that colt as much as you should, this Colt Start Camp will acquaint you with some of the processes that you will need to apply before you start riding the colt again.

When starting colts, Tony is much more particular of what is expected from the colt. He has many prerequisites before he will first mount a young horse. Tony is the first ride specialist at "For the Horse" Ranch and has thousands of hours experience in his lifetime with starting horses.

You are going to learn from a certified Colt Starter who is also in a lifelong business of Colt Starting. You can't get too much better than this for a great two day education into the philosophy, savvy and challenges of Colt Starting.

Tony will put the first rides on your colt!

The Colt Start is limited to five participiants. There are no prerequisites for this Camp.

Colt Start Camp is $450. Deposit is $100. Audit prices are $25 a day.
