WHAT DO YOU COVER IN A WORKSHOP?
Jennifer can give a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Workshop.
Ideally, all students should be working on the same level.
If there are students at different levels wanting to participate, Jennifer can show the tasks and then help each student to work at his or her level.
Level 1 Primary workshops will cover the 7 ground games with some riding if time permits.
Level 1 Advancing, Level 2 and Level 3 Workshops will cover riding skills as well as the 7 ground games.
There are 6 hours of instruction in a Workshop with time out in the middle of the day for lunch.
Tentative Workshop schedule: Morning-9:00 to 12:00 lunch break Afternoon: 1:30 to 4:30
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PARTICIPATE? WHAT IS THE COST?
Ten Participants are required for us to come to your place to do a workshop.
If you sign up for a workshop at our Farm, we are responsible for filling the other slots.
Each Participant pays $150 for the day.
Each Participant brings his or her own horse to use unless other arrangements have been made.
Payment is required in advance and is nonrefundable.

We recommend that each participant have a backup available to fill in for them in case they are unable to ride. Also have a backup horse available in case your horse is unable to participate.
We can do private or semiprivate lessons in the evening after the workshop.
Private: 1 person, 1 hour $50.00
Semi-Private: 2 person, 2 hours $40.00/person Group: More than 2 people -$30 per person
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES?
When the workshop is held further than 10 miles from Pine Dell Farm, we charge $.35 per mile, round trip, to come to your facility. We recommend that you divide this cost between your participants.
If your workshop is far enough away that we need to stay overnight, we ask that you put us up in a motel for the night--nothing fancy--just something clean and convienient.
You may charge an increase in the rider & auditor fee to help cover the extra costs of mileage and motel.
DO WE HAVE TO HAVE OUR OWN PARELLI EQUIPMENT?
No. We bring Parelli equipment along for students to use as needed.
We also bring Parelli equipment to sell, so that those who wish to, may purchase what they need.
HOW DO I SET UP A WORKSHOP IN MY AREA?

We will look at our calendar and talk with you about available dates. We will try to give you 2 or 3 options.
One person should act as the contact and coordinate the workshop.
Find 10 people who would like to participate in a workshop.
Collect money from each Participant.
Send a deposit check to Pine Dell Farm (two months in advance of your workshop) along with the name, address and phone number of each participant. Please print or type information. Refer to date of workshop so we can confirm this with our records.
We must receive your deposit 2 months in advance of your Workshop date in order to keep you on our schedule.
WHAT KIND OF FACILITY DO I NEED FOR A WORKSHOP?
You need an enclosed arena that is large enough to accomodate 10 riders. The ground can be grass, cut short, or loosely disked soil.
An indoor arena is not necessary, but we recommend that you have one available as a backup in case of inclement weather.
CAN PEOPLE COME TO WATCH (AUDIT) THE WORKSHOP?
Yes, Family or friends may audit the workshop for $30.00.
ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS AT TO THE TYPE OR AGE OF HORSE
Just one...Pat Parelli does not allow stallions in workshops.
We've had people bring yearlings, ponies, and all breeds of horses.
