Here's a different and really exciting addition for the Riding Competition: We are opening the riding competition up to those that drive their horse! Peope who like to drive their horse can enter this competition. There will be no carts, just two long lines and the drivers must stay behind their horse or lose points.
8/15/09 - 3 hour Versatility Riding (and driving) Clinic with Karen Moulis - $75 - starts at 9:30am- limited to 10 participants.
Juding Standards:
We have obstacles with points for each obstacle. In addition to the possible points, we are adding 5 more points for Excellence. If you stun the judge with excellence, you'll be awarded extra points.
There will be a time limit.
The theory that the judge will use is the further away you are from your horse to accomplish the pattern, the more points you will earn. Accomplishing the objective using all the principles of natural horsemanship will get you that great score.
You can use all the natural horsemanship tools recommended by the natural clinicians including Pat Parelli, Dennis Reece, etc.
