Welcome!

We at K.C. Pet Network and Animals Best Friends want to make this as easy as possible.

You may post to your heart's content.

If you know of available animals who are in immediate danger and need to be rescued as soon as possible, please post them here. The more rescue workers we have involved in this, the more efficiently it will work.
If you know of individuals who are looking for a specific type of animal, post it here.
What we are hoping is to match those individuals looking with animals in desperate need.
Please contact me with any suggestions or comments about this site.

If you would like to post a picture of the animal...you will need to use a few simple HTML commands that I will try my best to describe. If you have any trouble, contact me.

  • First, you will need to set up a file manager somewhere in "webland". Angelfire will let you open a free account, so will Geocities. You would then go into the file manager and click on "browse". Select the pre-saved picture
(jpg or gif format usually). Then click upload. Once it has been uploaded, select it in the directory and click "view". The picture should pop up in a new window and the URL at the top of the page is the "pic URL".

  • Next, you will copy down the aforementioned "pic URL" or you can highlight and copy it.
Go back to the message board and click on "post a message".
Within the subject box, give a very brief description of the pet. (ex. Aussie/Sheltie mix)
Within the message box type a description of the animal you are posting.
After you are finished typing the description you are ready to give the command to post the pic.
Insert the image URL into the space set aside for it. (must be a complete URL).

If you are here from the Animals Best Friends site, disregard the last action, the next step is for you.
After you have typed you description, type this (exactly):

    img src=""

When you have done that, insert a left bracket (<) before the word image...then insert a right bracket (>) just after the quotation marks.
In between the quotation marks insert the "pic URL" which you copied down earlier.

  • Finally, go back to the message board and view your message to see if you did it right.

    Yipee!!!
