Thursday, March 16, 7:00 pm: Meeting at the Discovery Center, between KFC and Brush Creek at 4750 Troost, Kansas City MO. Program to be announced.



Wednesday, April 12, 6:00 pm: Meet at Linda Hall Library, 5108 Cherry, to see spring flowers in native plant gardens there. Contact Sue Hollis, 816-561-9419 or ferngro@att.net Parking lot at 52nd and Holmes.



Saturday, April 15, 9:00 am: Trip to "Bluebell Valley," to see spring ephemerals. Contact Sue Hollis or Dan Rice, drice95875@aol.com or meet in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Hillcrest Road near Bannister Mall.



April 21-23: State Field Trips to Roaring River State Park. Check website for info.



May 5-7 Powell Gardens Festival and Plant Sale.



Saturday, May 13, 9:00 am: Trip to Cliff Drive to see restoration work completed by Kansas City Wildlands. Meet at the Kansas City Museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd, east side, or contact Dan Rice , drice95875@aol.com

Saturday, June 3, 9:00 am: Trip to Southfork Prairie in Cass County to assist with annual count of endangered Mead's Milkweed. Meet at Wal-Mart on Hillcrest Rd near Bannister Mall or contact David or Kathy Winn at 913-432-4220.



June 17-18: State Field Trips in Mountain View area. Check website for info.



Saturday, June 24, 9:30 am: Visit prairie restoration project northeast of Excelsior Springs. We will do a cookout after this field trip. Meet at commuter parking lot at I-35 and Hwy 152 in Liberty. Contact Tom Ledford, 816-630-0918, for info.



Saturday, September 16, 9:00: Trip to Hidden Valley to see Goldie's ferns, persimmons and coral root orchids. From I-435 in Missouri, take Parvin Road exit and turn left/west onto Parvin Road. Turn left/south onto Bennington Road and then right/west onto Russell Road. The parking lot is a couple of blocks.

Saturday, October 14, 9:00 am: Trip to Rocky Point Glade to view restoration work. Current plans for this glade include the release of collard lizards onto the site. Contact Dan Rice, drice95875@aol.com
