MISSOURI NATIVE PLANT SOCIETY MEETING

MARCH 16TH

Join Missouri Native Plant Society members on the evening of Thursday, March

16th for a fun way to help Missouri's native plant populations. Missouri

Dept. of Conservation Education Specialist, Cathy Bylinowski, will lead a

workshop in "seedball making." Using a mixture of clay and soil, native

seeds will be worked into balls, which will then be planted or spread in

gardens or natural areas in need of restoration (you can also take some with

you for your own home garden.) You can have fun and assist Missouri's

dwindling native plant population at the same time. Dress as if you were

going to work in the garden, that is; plan to get down and dirty! Be at the

Anita Gorman Discovery Center on March 16th at 7:30, to have fun with mud

and seeds! Children are welcome!
