Hulston Mill Historical Park, located in Dade County, Missouri, offers the potential for a high quality historical, recreational, and educational facility. It is located in the growing Stockton Lake recreational area and is within a few hours driving time of several major metropolitan areas. Limited development of the park has been undertaken including moving the historic pre-Civil War Hulston Grist Mill to the site designated for the historic village. The mill and the historic village will serve as focal points in the park.
Hulston Mill Historical Park is planned so that the visitor facilities and active and passive recreational areas within the park are integrated to insure the highest and best use of all land. These facilities and recreational areas, include a restored historic village, circa 1850, a mill pond, scenic pathways, an amphitheater, picnic areas, vehicular circulation and parking, and two large passive recreational areas. Convenience facilities include an overnight travel trailer park, restrooms, and a caretaker's residence.
