DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE IN GOOD HANDS WITH APPOINTMENT OF SENATOR JOHN ASHCROFT (R) AS UNITED STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL

We at the Criminal Justice Professionals for a Conservative Supreme Court are pleased to announce that President-elect George W. Bush has nominated Missouri Senator John Ashcroft as Attorney General of the United States.

We see Ashcroft's nomination as a huge swing toward conservative values being represented in Federal Law Enforcement and Corrections. Ashcroft has a proven track record with much pro-law enforcement support. Ashcroft is also a strong anti-abortion supporter.

In addition, we are also very proud that one of our own from Missouri, the Great Show Me State, has been chosen as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in our nation.
