Todd's 66 Chevelle Trunk and Floorpan

(updated 2/24/00)

This page is under construction

Trunk before and after. The top flange had rusted away from the weatherstripping,
and there was some pinholes in the pan itself. Both were cut out and replaced.
The trunk was then finished off with Black/Aqua Trunk Spatter paint after all of the hammer/dolly work was done on the qtr. panels.

This is the trunk lid stripped. Todd has filled the framework with foam to stiffen the metal as well as quite it. The trunklid was pretty straight, so no big bodywork needed.

Todd and his friend, Andy, cut out the bad section of the pan, hammered it flat, and then made an exact, hand formed duplicate!

That's Rad Roddin!

This is the floorpan and firewall finished off with silver POR-15. Rock hard and soda proof!!!
