In 1990, 'Driving Miss Daisy' won the Academy Award for 'Best Picture', but the Film Academy overlooked one movie that could very possibly have been better than that piece of trash movie, and that is 'The Wizard' starring Fred Savage, Christian Slater, and Jeff Bridges's fat brother.. I've seen 'Driving Miss Daisy' and it's kind of boring.. That's not so with 'The Wizard'.. There isn't an ounce of 'boring' in it.. It contains an all star cast, all of which provided excellent performances, and it was packed with suspense.. Who will be the reigning Nintendo Champion of the World..? Will it be Jimmy, the retarded twelve year old, Lucas, King of the Desert, or some nerdy girl with ratty pig-tails..? If you're under the age of thirty and you haven't seen 'The Wizard' then you've probably been reading too many books.. What's you're problem, dork..? Most video rental stores don't carry this classic any longer.. I'm assuming because it was so hard to keep on the shelves..
