IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW THE YEAR OF THE MAYAN CALENDAR WE ARE LIVING IN CURRENTLY
The main reason why we decided to hold this gathering on Mayan Calendars is to determine what year of the Mayan Calendar we are living in exactly so that we can keep our own calendar counting from now on in order to live accordingly to the natural laws of the cosmos. This is the way thinking human beings must live, ruled by the natural laws.
So if you are interested in the Mayan Calendars and you have some knowledge on the matter, we invite you to join us in this important gathering we are going to hold in November, 2007. Please feel free to e-mail us all the information related to the topic you have and you think could be valuable. When we receive this information from all the interested ones, the UNIVERSIDAD MESOAMERICANA DE SAN AGUSTIN (UMSA) and the CONSEJO DE ANCIANOS Y SACERDOTES MAYAS of México will review those writings and will let you know if yours was chosen, as soon as possible.
The names of the chosen teachers who take part in this gathering of the Mayan Calendars will be posted on our web site and we will be adding new names as soon as we get more writings. We think that 20 teachers who are experts or just have a vast knowledge on the subject of Mayan Calendars will be enough to determine the year of the Mayan Calendar we are living in. At the end of the event, each one of these teachers will be handed a copy of all the other teachers’ jobs.
Later on, the UNIVERSIDAD MESOAMERICANA DE SAN AGUSTIN (UMSA) and the CONSEJO DE ANCIANOS Y SACERDOTES MAYAS of Mexico will publish a book of the Cosmic Mayan Calendars with the purpose of recording this gathering, held in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, in history. Of course, all the teachers who made this dream possible will get a copy of this new book on Cosmic Mayan Calendars
