What is Hanspiration? The short answer is: being inspired by Hanson. But that's an oversimplification; there's really a lot more to it than that simple statement conveys. So we're going to
TRY TO EXPLAIN.
Well guys, we did it. The Hanspiration Book is now in the hands of Isaac, Taylor and Zac (Yep.. you know it's true!! :o)
The final product consisted of around 86 pages of
personal messages, received from upwards of 90 people
of all ages, from 9 countries and at least 26
different states in the U.S.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for such awesome encouragement and support, and for making such a huge effort to get your entries in. We'll hopefully have some pics of the actual book to put up in the next few weeks, so watch this space.
And last, but definitely not least, a big thank you to all those that helped out with the project itself. To Lynna and Pascalle, who without their help it just would not have happened, and to Subash who helped us spread the word with all her connections ~wink~. And I personally want to say a huge thanks to my partner in crime, Sharon, who kept me laughing every step of the way. That we were able to pull this off means more to me than I know how to say.
We are both very much looking forward to being able to do it all over again next year, so stay tuned.

Well, we have a little online community of “Hansonfan” friends, people who have become very near and dear to each other, and several of which have met in “real life”, (you know... that face to face thing... where there’s no computer... *shock* *gasp*.. yes.. it does happen, and it’s great fun!!) Anyway, a new person happened along (Hi Shelby!) and we got to talking about how we became fans of Hanson. And it turned out that there were some pretty awesome stories, and Sharon commented that wouldn’t it be a cool thing to be able to tell Isaac, Taylor and Zac just how much they have changed our lives, and how they have inspired us.
And we all got to thinking, and turns out that Sharon and I were thinking the same thing. We’ve both previously submitted entries in Mike McGill’s Birthday Books, and I (Shell) participated in the Yahoo Adult Hansonfans Club Christmas Book, so we figured there had to be a way. Now Mike clearly states on his page that he is not at liberty to give out his contact details, which we totally respect and understand. But a lovely woman named Pascalle, ~waves~ who along with Masja (another lovely woman) is the co founder of the Yahoo Adult Hanson Fans Club, and is a friend of ours. So, we very politely shuffled our feet and humbly asked if she might be able to find a way, without compromising herself, to assure deliverance of a book of “Inspirational Hanson Fan Stories” should we be able to put one together.
So, Pascalle pulled out all the stops for us, and was given permission from her “sources” to assure us the book will be delivered. And so, Hanspiration was born.
Now, because of the great amount of respect that we have for our friendship with Pascalle, and also the *HUGE* amount of respect we have for Hanson and their Management, we shan’t be divulging any information whatsoever about how or where the book will be delivered. There have been so many instances of people (who call themselves fans) making up and spreading false information lately with regards to Hanson, and Isaac, Taylor and Zac personally, and we want no part in that.
We would like to demonstrate that Hanson fans are a good bunch, and that we can be trusted to act maturely, especially when given great opportunities like this. So, you’ll just have to trust us on that one.
